My Garden - This is where I do a lot of painting, weather permitting (tricky in Cornwall!). I love the freedom of being in this open space, it really translates into the way I apply the paint. I often start my paintings outside and on the flat and it’s the most joyous and freeing part of my process. I smear paint onto my hands, drip water, tilt and move the canvas, all of which translates meaning and energy from how I’m feeling directly onto the canvas. Pure joy.
